Amanda Haugland is an easily-distracted knitter, writer, and designer. She is fascinated by anything string-related from ancient times through the Victorian era and is a self-confessed Anglophile. She enjoys knitting, spinning, writing, correcting essays and talking about herself in the third person. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite word is “defenestrate.” Her favorite authors include (but are not limited to) Elizabeth Zimmermann, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman.
Amanda is also happily married with three cats.
